I'm an eco-friendly Esthetician, also known as a Skin Care Professional.  I have been in the day spa industry since 2004 and LOVE it!  I was trained in North Carolina and worked there in the spa industry for 6 years. I then moved to Florida with my family and have really enjoyed living on the nature coast. 

 

I have been environmentally conscience most of my adult life.  It started with recycling and has become a way of life for me from building walls using old wine bottles in my back yard, shopping at the local thrift store, eating organic/free range/local foods to running my old '84 diesel Mercedes off veggie oil.  I enjoy being a green girl and educating others about their environment, health and the small changes they can make to be eco-responsible.

 

When I wanted to branch out on my own a few years ago, I did a lot of research on skin/body care products.  Searching for organic and natural products became such a headache! I wanted products that would be safe for my clients, family and the environment. I was disappointed in much of the "green" hype.  I learned just because the label says it is organic or natural doesn't always mean it's good for anyone.  The average person doesn't realize the chemicals put into many of our beauty products may be making us sick, causing allergic reactions and also hurting wildlife and plants when washed down the sink.

 

I believe in supporting independent and family owned companies that give back to their communities and run their business honestly.  You can always be assured that each product on my site has been studied, tried and tested by me personally.  Most of these products are also used currently in my own facial and body treatments.  Each product is organic, natural, fair trade and/or portions are donated to worthy causes.

 

I wanted to build this site so that you the consumer will be informed on your purchasing decisions, educate you about what you are putting on and into your body, becoming environmentally responsible, prepare you with knowledge for your next spa treatment whether it be with me or another Esthetician and tips to do a lot of treatments from your home.  I'm here for all your skin care needs.  Got a question?  Just ask!
